Has anyone stayed at the Versace hotel rescently. Is it worth to stay for a few nights?

Ie: exceptional service / does it have an executive lounge? / is the food - breakfast or dinner better then surrounding restaurants?

Thanks.

It's not that wonderful. If you find a good rate, book it, but we won't stay there again unless it's well under $400 pn.
There are many tourist buses who come in for the buffets and the high tea, but the food is normally pretty good, just not an intimate place on the occasions we have dined there.
The rooms are nice enough, small, but very Versace.
It used to be an amazing place, but maybe my service standards have risen (set by Asian experiences), so the interactions we had didn't really rate anywhere out of the ordinary.

Stayed once, had the buffet, got sick.......
Over priced over hyped IMHO

I get to carry the bags for SWMBO once a year at this joint .... I'd recommend you stay over the road.

I've stayed there once. Found it very underwhelming.

I far prefer Sheraton Mirage over the road especially since the renovation. Lots of good memories there too - I've been staying there since I was 10 years old (I'm 34 now).

Lots of decent restaurants in the vicinity as well. I'm quite fond of Glass Dining in the Marina Mirage complex, but there's everything from casual to formal.

I honestly can't comment on Versace as I haven't stayed there. The reason? I dislike the ambiance of the place. I don't particularly like the Versace gaudiness and the place is ugly to the extreme (IMHO) and there is little privacy from public viewing areas. All in all, I wouldn't say the place repulses me, but it's certainly not to my taste.

Sheraton across the road is generally cheaper, and closer to the beach!
