Hi Guys,

I usually redeem straight forward SQ awards but now am looking at a partner award redemption, it will be my first ever if that's the case :) and now seek advice.

I am specifically looking at an intra-Europe one way award, will cost 12,500 miles.

Assuming I want to go from LIS to SPU ..... could I just piece my itinerary up (like USDM) and then ask the award agent those flight details. For example, a LIS-SPU could be constructed as LIS-FRA and FRA-SPU ...... this is counted as 12,500 and now 2x , is that correct, is that how it works?

Is your issue the routing or the total miles?

I would start from the position of it being 1 x 12,500. Ask the SQ telephone agent for LIS-SPU.

Hopefully they will see options like this search where I've used a random date in the future. Help them get your preferred routing by (only) asking for the times that match your route.

btw, my experience with this is doing one way FRA-MIL not exactly the same but I think yours is within the scope of intra-europe flight. Referirng to this chart which I think you already have, Europe - Europe can be Portugal - Croatia one way for 12,500..
