Partner Gold?

Hi folks,

Next week I will have passed the 2100 SC's required for Partner Gold and will be flying with Mrs ejb early May and I am wondering if her Gold membership will have processed by then?

Next week I will have passed the 2100 SC's required for Partner Gold and will be flying with Mrs ejb early May and I am wondering if her Gold membership will have processed by then?

QF will send you a letter congratulating you on being a wonderful customer and requesting you to nominate the person who will receive the Partner Gold.

It takes them a couple of weeks to get the letter out and then a couple more to send out the card, so unlikley Mrs ejb will have the card before you leave, however her status may be recognised by QF as soon as they get your nomination letter.

Maybe give them a call to hurry them along as soon as you crack 2100 - given you are a valued customer with planned travel they might be able to speed up the process.

Thanks for the advise. Just phoned service centre and they will email form on the day I pass 2100 and update Mrs ejb's status immediately.

In my case , mrs serfty was partner QP already.

QF simply sent me a nice letter and her shiny SG card arrived the next week.

Heronline status changed quite quickly to SG (Her anniversary date also changed to match mine).

If they don't (or if you'd like it even sooner), I'm happy to e-mail you a copy of the form. I still have it sitting here on my hard drive after they had to send a second form to me (after rejecting my dad for membership ).

Thanks for the offer but from the below post it seems that Mrs ejb will be automatically changed to Gold as she already holds Partner QC.
