1 million extra award seats, MY AR5E.
Just spent the last half hour looking for Joyce's promised changes
Not ONE J flight to London in the next 12 months. Nothing.
Oh, there's the same old MU and Emirates availability here and there but they've gone UP by 20,000 points and no reduction in taxes.
Why am I surprised??

No, just mainly flights between MEL, SYD, BNE and ADL in Y between 1-2.30pm and after 8.30pm.

Damnnn I tried to make a booking at midnight last night for a JAL ticket.
Points hadn't increased but i had some difficulties checking out and fell asleep.

Just checked now and its gone up!

What level QFF are you.... I can see lots of J avails for the search you show above?

Looking at end of January HKG-SYD route ..... No extra seats, not even Economy ........ I am a QF Gold so I should be able to see more inventories.

However I can only see all the additional QFF costs for J and F ..... at off peak times.

Yeah right million extra seats. Great marketing spin.

I just did Sydney - much the same as MEL and nothing like yours! Lucky you; with status.
But has this been a significant increase for your availabity - did you check yesterday?

Bronze.
I'm sure that's the reason for the discrepancy

I was looking at booking JL flights for 2 PAX the other day however the dates were not far enough forward so I was going to book and then change. I called QF and asked if I booked prior to the 18/9 and then changed post 18/9 would I have to pay the new rates plus change fees. The answer was "we have not been told and I am not sure".

I didn't book and now have to pay the higher points rate, however the booking I looked at yesterday the QF tax is about $125 per pax cheaper and if I factor in the points to change 5000 per pax I think I am only slightly worse off.
