Patong accommodation

Hi all... Just a quick one, I don't expect many answers...

Me and my mate are heading to coughet for a week. Want a nice resort, but not too far from goings on (preferably walking distance).

Novotel coughet Resort (on special atm)
Holiday Inn Resort coughet (60% more than above)
Hilton coughet (another 20% on top of that).

I'm elite with all, any thoughts or recent experiences?

I've stayed at the HI. Good location if you're after a place right in the middle of Patong. It's over the road from the beach however close enough

+1 for HI. Stayed there twice. The last time was in 2008 though.

The Hilton is a bit out of Patong and I've heard average reviews.

Just ensure that you are in walking distance to where you want to socialise and don't have to catch a cab as the "taxi mafia" have a monopoly on prices and it will cost you a small fortune for a small ride that is too far to walk.
