Hi folks, as the title suggests I'm looking for the best way to do the above routing.

We are taking a short break in WA next year and would like to come back to the east coast via a couple of weeks in SE asia.

The best I can do with SQ for AUD 2,214.62

is

  • Flight 1Perth(PER)Manila(MNL)Fri 28 Feb 2014
  • Flight 2Manila(MNL)Brisbane(BNE)Tue 11 Mar 2014

  • Cabin classEconomy
  • Passengers2 Adults , 1 Infant

I look forward to your responses!

Thanks in Advance, Nate

I had a look at Cathay and they came in and $2400 but all flights during the day.

Maybe worth the extra for no overnight flights.

Assuming the Infant is under 2 and not in a seat:

1. If you're game to go LCC, a mixture of Scoot and Cebu could do the trip for about $1200 + bags + food (and you'll end up in OOL) which could be good / bad....

2. Malaysian is $1737 - oneworld and overnight stop on the way home

3. Cathay is around the same as SQ

Just noticed that expedia.com.br is pricing this up at less than $1300, QF + Jetstar Asia over, Cathay + QF back.... again not much help with your VA preference, but pretty good price!
