Perth dinner and drinks 6th or 10th Sep

I have booked another trip to WA in September - anyone interested in another Perth get together?

I have 2 nights in Perth that are free but my preference would be Thursday 10th

No go for me, I'm afraid. On the 10th, I'll be early in the second week of my 7-week DONE5 and in Tucson .

At this stage we will be back in Perth and it should be warmer. Thursday night is easier for me .

Right now I have no scheduling conflicts, so I'd be happy with the Thursday. If we get 4 or less, then I say aim for Lucky Chans. If we get more than 4 as confirmed, I will book somewhere. Maybe No 4 Blake St or somewhere BYO if Chris is coming.

September "may" be warmer - feels like Steady left his Tasmanian weather with us when he left last time!!


Happy to bring some bottles to a BYO to help reduce my logistics problem re: Bali move.

I am currently drinking one of my 1997 Cape Mentelle Shiraz which is, to say the least, fantastic.

Oh, well I will catch you after your trip then JohnM. I misread a clause in my contract and so realised I should not have been working where I was and ceased employment there 5 days later to be on the safe side. I will start my rural work early now, but that shouldn't impact on my social life too much

Actually, it may mean that the 10th is out for me, but I will update accordingly.

I can still if there are a few of us but I just sent a list of my wines to Sterling Auctions, so we have to be quick if it is a BYO.

Costed taking the wine to Bali ($10k minimum :shock so flogged the cases off to a mate opening a restaurant soon and just the singles & part cases to go. Down from 678 (last count on my software) to 120!!


And Steady - how can you be 33% possibility?? Surely it would be 33.33333etc %.
