AFF has threads for Etihad and LATAM's frequent flyer program, yet these two fly to Australia far less frequently than Philippine Airlines.
The latter lacks a separate thread and ought have one.
PR flies from Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney to Manila. It serves the fast growing Filipino diaspora but there are always Caucasians on board.
Philippines is an important tourism destination. In the latest month for which statistics are available - not peak season - 19,000 plus Australians alighted in Philippines to commence a holiday, or less likely, visit friends and relatives or attend to business matters. With the latter, there are heaps of Filipino call centres so PR's business class seats are often all occupied.
I asked pre-COVID and recently for PR's Mabuhay Miles to be granted a separate thread. On both occasions, I was informed there was insufficient interest.
AFF management doesn't seem to believe in the saying 'build it and they will come' - that is, if a separate page was created, in time AFFers would contribute and grow such a thread.
It's illogical to commence threads for airlines that infrequently serve Australia, yet ignore an airline that travels from our four major cities to its major hub in Manila.
