Looks pretty good, can't wait till they're all done.

Would especially be intrigued by the 777 and whether they would be getting an updated interior even though they are fairly recent?

I like it - also glad the new magazine is out (shame to see it has the same name) and am hoping for some interesting articles on the new VA and perhaps some hints as to more changes over coming months.... may even actually take it away with me this time ;)

huzzah! loving the look of the new livery, all thats missing now is the ATRs ;)

For those of us that are nosy like myself, is it possible to include the number of each aircraft in the fleet in Voyeur?

Photo or Photoshop of your entire fleet?

...or should I ask, do you really have 170's in the new livery?

A new coat of paint and a new uniform does not make a new airline, but anythings achievable with photoshop and visons (delusions?) of grandeur!

I was expecting an actual photo with some amazing airport skyline in the background and the entire fleet in one location...and all I got was a Blackberry pic from a magazine

I have an Excel spreadsheet with that info,PM me if you would like a copy.

Thanks for the Pic Virgin Australia, can't wait until the day where I can look out of the SYD lounge and see a row of white aircraft!!

I'll have to remember to grab a fresh copy of this mag on my next VA flight.

Same here but I still think the engines should be painted ALL in red not just a stipe to break the "flying hospital look"

On another note, Qantas came in a lot cheaper than Virgin for my last lot of domestic bookings (BNE/SYD rt, BNE/MEL, and BNE/ADL). Even my last minute trip to Adelaide (flying out tomorrow morning) came in over $100 cheaper with Qantas than DJ.

One thing i respect Qantas for, and it may just be my experience, is every time they have a sale its geniune, in the fact seats are available on almost all flight whereas (from my experience), Virgin only release seats on the non-popular time slots.
A good example was a booking to attend an expo in Sydney in August. I wanted to book a flight leaving Brisbane on Friday between 3-7pm returning Sunday afternoon between 4-7pm. On three separate DJ sales there was not one seat available in either direction after 11am. Qantas had seats available on all flights. YES I understand how seat revenue works and how airlines manage seat inventory but it does not hurt to release a couple of sale fares across a broad selection of time slots.

At this rate I won't get a chance to experience the new Virgin.

If it wasn't for Virgin you would probably be paying at least 3 times as much on a Qantas flight.

Don't suggest things like that. You weren't paid $xx_xx_ to help them design their image, and come up with "interesting" comments like:

"White is pure and white is clean and white is clear". "The purple will balance it back to the middle because it's a warm colour"
Hans Hulsbosch

I still think the flag looks ridiculous without the colours, but hey... I wasn't paid the big bucks.

All perfectly valid comments, the new livery is fantastic, saw it in the flesh last week, very impressive in my opinion, even better than QF.

A little hint of purple would have been nice on the belly.... to tie in with the website and interiors/lounge etc

I am being pedantic here, but I think the scale between the 777, 330 and the 738 seems to be out of whack...
