Hi guys, as a frequent flyer, I am also a plane spotter, and that makes me a photography fan.

Just a question I hope someone here would know, does anyone knows any good photography forum around, particular those people use around the world. This is a entirely off the topic thread, where I wish to take some wedding photos in Europe next year, I need to found some good local wedding photographers. Looking forward to hear any advice.

Thank you guys.

dpreview.com is a good place to start, that's where I started...

Just a word of warning, don't start canon vs nikon threads...

Why would you start a thread comparing printers with cameras?

:p
Instead of starting camera wars I should probably also suggest photographica.org. Not sure if this is what you're after but it's a good site to post photos and get decent feedback from a supportive community.

Canon is clearly the way to go.

I use DP Review for reviews, but have never got into photography enough to discuss things that in-depth.

Sigma lenses aren't all bad. I love shooting with Sigma 10-20mm f3.5 HSM. Love wideangle lenses.

Yep that lens and the 18-50mm f2.8 a good lenses. Love them but man when you stand next to a canon or nikon user... it's like them single malt drinkers when i'm just happy with the JW Black

Agreed, my favourite lens is my Sigma 30mm f1.4.

Don't just fall for the first photographer you come across. Find several that seem promising and start doing a process of elimination. The most important thing to look for is their portfolio. The images it contains will be a direct reflection of that photographer's work and skills. If you're not impressed, then move on to the next one.
