picking seats on QF int flights

Hey guys,

I was wondering if people with no status can pick seats without charge?

If not, say i book for them (i will be WP by then), i assume i can not pick seats? because once i booked it, i can not retrieve that booking under my account isnt it?

OR

If I booked with them, say 3 tickets on the same res number, will i be able to pick seats for them?

OR

Is there a better way to do it?

If someone of PS or higher status is on the PNR then seats can be selected FOC.

If a PS or higher is travelling with others with no status on another booking, a call to Qantas to link the booking, may allow free seat selection.

So:
