I haven't been on an international QF flight in J or F and not had pyjamas. I've flown on QF4 but it's been many many years and we did get pyjamas as it's a 10 hour flight. Even though it's a daytime flight, they are still comfortable and after a long flight they keep clothes fresher for arrival (or onward travel)

Do you still get them on QF4 from HNL to SYD? Just want to be prepared with a change of clothes if they don't (or recycle the ones we would get on the way over on QF3).

You will get them on flights between AUS and:

LAX, SFO, DFW, HNL, SCL, JNB, SIN, SIN-LHR, HKG, PEK, PVG, HND, NRT, YVR, LHR, and the upcoming ORD

The transcontinental LAX-JFK-LAX do not (IIRC)

Not a bad idea to still have a t-shirt and/or shorts in the carry on in case the airline doesn't load PJs, has run out of your size, or in the event your bags don't come at the other end!

It’s a day flight, most people don’t sleep (maybe a nap). I did this flight last year and I can’t remember definitely - I vaguely remember they were available on request but most people didn’t take them.

My guess is the cater for SYD-HNL with spare sizes and keep a few for the return.

it’s actually one of the best things about QF4 - minimal Timezone difference, daytime timings and you can stay awake to make the most of flying in the pointy end.

Flew QF4 last year and as it was a day flight we did not get any PJs. However, it also depends on the crew. I've flown QF29 as day flight and have received some left over PJs, but mostly on day flights is a no.

Are you sure you get them AU to all those locations or did you mean AU and those locations on evening/ night flights. In my experience day flights in J do not always get PJs, night flights different story.

i reckon they should still have tops - t-shirts or otherwise - for day flights. Food spillage and crumpled clothes (protecting from) are two main reasons to provide them.

Perhaps they could issue bibs and we could all eat from a through ;)
