Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has a second supplementary card holder on their account and what the benefits to them might be? I know that priority plus, the hotel status are only for one nominated supplementary card holder, so wouldn't apply, but would they get access to the Virgin lounge and Amex lounge in Sydney? I believe they also get access to FHR, but does anyone have experience with it? I've got a friend coming from the UK and thought it might be nice to treat her to some of the benefits (in exchange for her getting me a few more points).

Cheers

Supplementary card holders have access to the Amex Lounge at SYD T1.

Virgin domestic lounge is for primary card holder only.

In the UK, there are a couple of lounges that the supplementary cardholder can access (without priority pass membership).

Look at the Platinum Benefits section on your Amex online account, and you can see requirements, benefits for each lounge/airport.

Bummer, I was hoping VA lounge access was available. Scarcely seems worth it I guess. Thanks!

You should be able to get multiple status membership for supplementary cardholders - e.g. SPG, Shangri La, Hertz, Avis, Priority Pass, etc.
