American Express has updated the Card design of the American Express® Platinum Edge Card. You will notice the new design online and in your digital wallet. You can continue to use your Card and we will send you the new Card design upon your next renewal.​

Very odd that the Platinum Edge Credit Card is now a dark (black or dark grey) coloured card and the Essential Credit Card is a light (white/silver) coloured like the old Platinum Edge Credit Card and they both share the same design.
