Platinum hhonors & hertz upgrade

Morning VFF,
I hit platinum in October and opted in for my hilton and hertz to be upgraded on the day platinum came through.. but it hasn't been reflected in either hhonors or hertz yet. Could someone from your end take a look to see if there is a hold up?

it's not exactly a credit card number, and not exactly difficult to obtain, but I see your point.

Remember even VFF needs a holiday from time to time.......it is that time of year

Oh and with your FFer number, someone told me once that with the details on a boarding pass, a crook can steal your identity. I'm not sure whether that's correct or not, but I never leave boarding passes lying around (once I confirm points and SCs awarded, I shred them) and I'm not keen to tell people any number associated with me without good reason.......but that's just me I guess.

On that note, every household needs a shredder. The personal information that people put out in the garbage amazes me. The communal rubbish bins where I live have bank/credit statements and utility bills just thrown in on top of everything else in the paper/recycling bins.

was a bit of a lapse of judgement on my part... It is plastered on pretty well everything from velocity anyway, including half my luggage courtesy of the complimentary baggage tags... also Hilton, my work, a few car rental companies, even my mechanic has it on file - so it's hardly a microfilm of secrets but again, no argument here, why provide more info then necessary in an open forum hey?

my Hertz status processed reasonably quickly, the Hilton status (which I actually found useful) was a major pain - I ended up talking to the people on the HHonors help line and eventually they fixed it up.
