Hi all

First up I am not very good at technical stuff so be gentle please, but I am off to the UK and Italy in a few months and wanted some advice on pocket wi fi that I could re charge if required for use with my ipad and or Iphone as I have found charges really high in hotels overseas. Can anyone assist with that please.

Also I have had an account with EKIt/Telestial for some years that gives me a UK telephone number and a US number, I am pretty happy with that, except the SIM is in an old blackberry that I have, so I would need to take that phone plus Iphone and Ipad (wireless only) , just wondering if there is anything else a bit more simple.

Last year whilst overseas my Mum got pretty sick and I had to make loads of calls back here to Qantas and hospitals etc and signed up for the Optus Travel pack whilst I was in Italy and paid $10 a day ( I am with Optus for my Iphone) it was excellent but being away for 30 days not sure if I should do that again.

Anyway any advice would be appreciated to make me a bit more savvy

Thanks :)
