Have looked around here to no avail, just wondering if anyone has an advice/experience for the following.

Took a trip and rented a car with Budget, a week after that I joined the QFF program (put in the claim for missing points for those flights) and found out Budget is a partner of the program and you can get points for using them. I went to Budgets site and it appears you need to do it at the time of the booking and you need to pay a $1 a day fee if you want to have the points (so I read)?

I sent them an email from the form on the site with the booking reference and a similar explanation to the above but am yet to hear back (2 weeks ago).

Does anyone know a specific email I could try my luck on, happy to pay the fee retrospectively for the points, but unsure if this is a lost cause or not.

Cheers

I think you'll find you're not able to claim points from before you joined for car hire, unlike flights.

Sorry I can't help but customer service from car hire companies is appalling. Still trying to deal with Avis and Hertz.

Avis and Budget call centre is the same one - in NZ. Not that great,

I'm having a "discussion" with Budget at the moment - unless you're patient and have a lot of time don't bother - they are just hopeless

Customer service eventually got back to me and said that due to using a business discount number, in this instance they would not be able to retrospectively add the points. I get the feeling I may have got them if I had done it at the time of the booking (maybe not) but if anyone else has booked and not used a BSD (or the like) discount and forgot to link their QFF account, worth trying your luck by contacting customer service.

Thanks all
