Hi all, I'm trying to calculate if I'll have enough points getting into the next tier.

I've got some up coming flights - all are QF and JK carriers and are booked through Qantas Classics Rewards. I've got Points Club Plus.

I've put the Origin and Destination in the status calculator although I believe I'll get less than stated - does anyone have a rule of thumb or guide of what SC I'll receive?

Previously I flew a QF Business Class flight SYD-HND and got 48 SC - a Discount Business Class flight in the Status Calculator is 120.
On a QF Economy SYD-ADL, I received 7 SC - the status calculator comes up with 10. So I'm not sure what the rule is here.

Upcoming flights
SYD-LAX Economy (QF)
DFW-SYD Business (QF)
SYD-DPS Return Economy (JK)

Also to note, you only get SC on QF flights for classic rewards not JQ flights.

For SYD - LAX you get 33 in economy
For DFW - SYD you get 80 in business.

For those on the slow path (not utilising Points Club via credit card churning or Business Rewards) the burning of rewards points deliver 0 SCs despite whatever SHARE OF WALLET one MIGHT have spent along the way
