Complicated question, any assistance appreciated.
I do plan to still fly (Air)NZ after Oct as they fly ADL - AKL direct.
Also KF seems to be earnable on some classes, ie, K class on (Air)NZ domestic flights.
Plan to put points earnt from these (Air)NZ flights to KF, and then transfer them in 5k lots to VFF.
Ie, VFF have not ever quibbled about the fact that it was earnt in *A, ie TG airline.
There are some airlines of which VFF is not a member of, but for which SQ and (Air)NZ are, ie, in the *A which VFF is not in.
For points that you have collected in KF from ie, TG flights, and you transfer them to VFF, has it alwasy been an easy transfer of 5k of KF miles to 3.7k of VFF miles, ((ignoring SC earn).

You can transfer KF points to Velocity no matter how they are earned.
