Points plus pay booking issue

Is anyone having difficulty booking a qantas flight using points plus pay? I am trying to book a flight for my daughter and it’s not allowing me to add the flight to the trip. I am booking her as unaccompanied, but I was sure you could do this with points plus pay. Help! Obviously impossible to get hold of Qantas to ask the question!

Could the issue be that you're trying to book her an as unaccompanied minor? As frustrating as it is, I think you might need to call Qantas.

When in the booking process do you get the failure? At the very beginning or after you add passenger details?

I just tried a dummy booking:
1. select flight and add to trip - Is this where you fail?
2. Log into account
3. select to pay using cash or points.
etc.

If the failure is at the beginning, can you try adding the trip without being logged in?

It would probably depend, the Qantas booking process has the flight added first and then passenger details.
