Points Posting Delay

Is it just me or is there a delay with points and SC's posting lately? I haven't been credited for Monday and Yesterdays flights, usually it's done within 1-2 days..

I have 3 flights outstanding MEL-WLG (VA code operated by ANZ) last week, WLG-CHC (code and operated by NZ) last sunday, and CHC-MEL (Pac bro operated and code) on Wednesday. I am not sure how long the NZ points are supposed to take to credit but it is taking longer than i thought. The pac bro flight *should* credit tomorrow if they keep to the usual schedule, not sure about the others.

Yeah its looks like there is a delay. Its normally max 48 hrs for them to appear . I have Tuesday's still to be credited. Maybe the increased volume over the last week is delaying it slightly. Not sure of the process DJ go through for sending points / SC through . QF are pretty good with them hitting your account with 12-18 hours.

I had an issue last week with my flights to/from CBR taking 72-96 hours to credit. The vast majority of my previous activity showed up within about 48 hours so this was certainly longer than usual. May have been as a result of increased volumes, however I would assume the posting of points & SCs is an automated process so I'm not sure how this would impact it.

My monday flight come in today. Are the double SC posting as a separate entry. I got the offer but can't remember the dates I got. My Monday flight posted with normal SC, just wondering if I should look for the double SC as a separate credit.

Thanks. I just dug out my emails. First offer was for bookings until 24 October. The "extension" is for bookings from 31 October on. booked on 29 Oct Slightly disappointing that "extended and expanded" doesn't actually mean they extended the previous offer. But meh! (nice to have not need to have)

Meggsy - Im not sure why the difference, but a more important question is in the how in the hell did you get you manage to get 320 SC for just doing a Cairns - Gold Coast return even with Double S/C credit ??? What was your fare basis & routing for this trip ?

It was a Premium Economy fare from Cooly - Cairns via Townsville on the Embraer. It pays as a zone 3 as it is calculated on the normal run of having to go via SYD, but 3 or 4 days a week the E170/190 service to Townsville goes on to Cairns and still pays the zone 3 mileage/SC. Not a bad little earner with the double SC offer.

Not bad Meggsy - thats about 65% of Velocity Gold for those SC's there, well done!

My bonus SC came through on the 01st Nov for Virgin flights flown on the 24th Oct - so seems about the same timeframe as a lot of others lately.

I flew to MEL-SYD-MEL last Tuesday, my first Virgin flights in a few years. I status matched from Qantas WP.

After a few days, the points posted, and both the regular and bonus SCs posted. However, my "Additional sectors required to maintain Platinum" remains at 8, whereas it should have dropped to 6.

Has anyone else had this?

That's not a problem as they don't count sectors until August next year.

Meanwhile, my SCs and points from last Wed/Thurs didn't post until this morning.

Wonder if the delay had something to do with sneaking in family pooling?
