To/from Lord Howe Island1 piece at 14kg (30lb). Above 14kg and up to 23kg may not travel on same flight due to aircraft weight restrictions.
OK, I have managed to score 2 award flights to Lord Howe Island early next year:p. Couple of Qs: can we pool our checked lugggage allowance of 14 kg each so we can take one large suitcase up to 28 kg? Probably easier for us to this then to check 2 medium sized bags but no biggie if we have to.

Any accommodation suggestions that don't break the bank balance for a 3 night stay? So far, I have zeroed in on Lord Howe Island Accommodation - Lorhiti Apartments

Any other tips for LDH?

I know the trip is a long way off but I'm a little excited as I have always wanted to go to LDH:D

No, you will be up for a heavy fee as all QF domestic flight work on the peice system, unless you are of status :)

Even if you are WP or whatever, max is still 23kgs from what i have been told. Well anything over 14kgs may not travel with you.
