I get a yellow bar saying "Why not take a few moments to ask a question"?

So here I am.

I am needing to book and pay for a family member to fly LHR <> SYD, and they have no FF programme at all, because they aren't a big flyer.

I know I can enroll them in QFF for free from UK, and transfer the miles to my account, what about the status credits?

Or, can I book them on my FF account, and have them do the flying?

Thoughts?

Cheers,

Woody

The person flying is the only one who will get the SC's - no transfer of SC's is possible on the QFF program.

Enrol them for the points at least, and you cannot book it in your name as the details are checked at checkin re passport etc..

Depends on how successful VA is with pinching market share. They'll change things when the charts for the board presentations start (or really start) pointing down.......increased competitive market is a beautiful thing.

I'm a lock, stock & barrel QF & OW flyer however, I hope VA & SQ are very successful & give QF a good kick up the a++.

I'd love to be able to fly on Virgin more often, I have some friends who are flight crew for Virgin Atlantic for example. The only thing is that none of the Virgins is properly connected, so its not a real network. They are just names, so V.Aust is not the same same V.Atlan / V.America etc. Like how the Virgin FF programmes aren't joined up.

If Branson spent less time on his spaceships and more on customer value, who knows?

Does virgin still have the family pooling option? Would be great if QF go down this route. The mrs loves the status but just doesn't fly enough to make it on her own.
