I have made three different bookings for our family holiday as follows -

16/12 - ADL-SYD - Passengers = Grandparents
16/12 - ADL-SYD - Passengers = Flying Fox Children

19/12 - ADL-SYD - Passengers = Mr & Mrs Flying Fox

30/12 - SYD-ADL - Passengers = Mr & Mrs Flying Fox
30/12 - SYD-ADL - Passengers = Flying Fox Children

01/01 - SYD-ADL - Passengers = Grandparents

All people travelling on the same day are on the same flight and as you can tell the Grandparents are escorting our children to SYD and then staying on a bit longer.

Is it possible for QF to link these three bookings together so if anything happens the people travelling together will be rescheduled/accommodated together?

Yes. I've linked 8 bookings before (a large group). Each PNR needs to be cross linked to each other, in essence a web of linking.
