If you can make use of the one for one nights etc its actually good value. I generally use those certificates etc on weekends in another city when visiting friends or concerts etc.
I would not say the best program but i have been a member many many years so far and got my moneys worth. I am also a Hilton member since it happened i used the new Sydney Hilton for visits it seemed worth while since i could easily redeem my free/cheap nights.

I believe the BOGO certs are worth the $120 alone that you are "saving" with the special, throw in the missing $50 credit and the free breakfast (worth $30) results in a package of significantly less value than the full priced version. I also had to show my existing BOGO cert when using a previous keep your cert special (they have been around for 6 months) so you would not have one to show if you went for hte cheaper option.

I booked the CP Darling Harbour for 2 nights last week for a stay on Fri and Sat before I received the PP email.

When booking on the PP website I clicked on Special Offer under "Rate Selection" and up popped the Stay 2 Nights for the Price of 1 & Keep your Certificate deal.

I got a Darling Harbour view room for $225 for 2 nights!

I tried a 2 for 1 reservation on the PP site for 9-11 Jan, and came back with a price of average of $147.50 per night which sounds about right. It is just the normal 2 for 1 offer but you don't have to surrender your certificate.

Hi Oz - Yes can get that, and that seems great but where is the - no certificate reqd bit advertised as naturally don't want to get there and find they need to use a cert ?

Ahh hang on - use the special offer rate and cut it down from 6 days to a two day stay, learning...
