I'm certainly on a IHG/PP/AMB learning curve here so please excuse me if the answer to this is already well known, but I have an upcoming booking with ICSC for four nights on one booking reference based upon the PP newsletter BOGO offer.

Rate was $359/night so with the BOGO x 2 meant $359 x 2 for four nights + $10.78 hotel fee = $728.78 confirmed by email.

I just checked the booking on-line via my IHG account and was somewhat surprised to see a "modified" booking displayed with the modification being a 50% increase in the estimated total

When I checked the rate detail, I see they have modified the booking for just one BOBO night, rather than 2. There also appears to be some odd allocation of days in the totals under the calandar, which seem to suggest something different to what the calandar says (Sun-Sun = $359, Mon-Mon = $0.01, Tues-Wed = $359 and no mention of Wed-Thurs)

Somewhat confused I telephoned ICSC and the in-house reservations tells me that my confirmed email tallies with their record and the total rate will be $728.78 and they promise to email me a statement confirming that as fact. I'm sure I'm probably not the first to come up against this. Are the PP newsletter offers for just one night per stay, or for multiple and if for just one night, can I simply change it to two consecutive bookings rather than one, to achieve the double BOGO?

As I'm assuming the "BIG WIN" promotion is an attempt to secure more of my business, these kind of discrepancies (no matter which is correct) is not acceptable. If I book a rate, I expect that rate.....not 50% more!

Dont worry about it, you can sort it out when you check out.

I know one thing for sure. I'll be taking a copy of my confirmation email! ICSC has sent through a letter which states in part....

[TD="bgcolor: transparent"] 359.00 for nights of 22[SUP]nd[/SUP] and 24[SUP]th[/SUP] September. Nights of 23[SUP]rd[/SUP] and 25[SUP]th [/SUP]September will be complimentary on presentation of Priority Privilege Buy One Get One Night Free Voucher
[/TD]

I don't want to give away my vouchers, so I may copy the PP newsletter offer as the rate code is clearly shown as a PP newsletter special offer....not a PP BOGO voucher redemption.

I'm also reliably told by in-house reservations that I will be offered a Qlder suite with a rollaway (complementary) if I wish.

Just out of curiosity, can PP newsletter BOGOs be used multiple times in the one booking?

The same thing has happened to me, I checked the booking today and an upgrade has been applied ... but also to the price. I'm sure they will honour the original price, but will print the existing booking that was made in Dec last year.
