Dear Forum,

Who can tell me if the Virgin Australia Premium Economy is as spacious and catered for as well as Qantas Premium Economy?

Re: International Premium Economy on Virgin Australia

Here's my IFE montage (although obviously my aircraft pic is a bit old now)

Rob, Ive flown VA (to LAX) and QF (to LHR) in PE. QF is miles ahead;

1. The QF seat and cabin is far superior, especially on the A380 which somehow seemed more comfortable than the 747. If you check out the seat photos online it will be obvious QF is better.
2. QF catering is better, I wouldnt go as far as to call it a J lite product, but the food was decent (closer to J than Y) and better than VA (which was very similar to Y IMHO).
3. Service wise it's the luck of the draw with the crew.

Having said that QF PE is often ridiculously expensive, so if you can get VA PE for a reasonable premium it's still worth it.
