Hi all, looking for a quick answer. In Paris at the moment and when using cc, I have the option of AUS or EUR $$ when paying. To get the 5 points per $ which should I use?? Or do they both count? Cheers Mark

Go Euros to qualify for the 3.33 net points for the 3.4% cost. It is a gross 5 points multiplied by two thirds on international charges. If the place changes it to Australian dollars you will miss the bonus.

Definitely EUR, choosing AUD will not only give you poor exchange rate but likelihood of Citi not paying bonus points for international spend

You will certainly be saying merci beaucoup as you see your points balance rise! The citibank 5 points per $ spent overseas is great.

Never ever ever ever select AUD overseas. Always choose local currency as it's cheaper and you get the 5x points.
I use this card exclusively for intl payments it's the best in market. Points balance = GOING UP FAST!

Hahahha, the wife said to me this morning "now darling how many points do you want me to earn for you today 20'000" What tha!!! A bit of a double edge sword going on here, she knows I'm a point nutt
