I just read another post about record profits for Qantas, I think they need to invest in some replacement parts rather than duct tape.
Anyone else noticed the amount of duct tape on the Qantas planes?
On a recent flight back and forth to the UK via Singapore, SYD to LHR then LHR to BNE. I noticed an alarming amount of duct tape on the Qantas planes and do not use service tags.
To the UK the A380 had Duct tape on my seat by the leg (not a problem), my wife’s seat didn't recline.
The bassinet had duct tape holding it to the wall with a big do not use sign. The couple in front with a young baby weren’t very happy.
On the way back another A380 had duct tape over a lot of the bays which hold the food trolleys in place with yellow un-serviceable tags upstairs at the back. Walking through business on the way out I saw another seat with duct tape on it.
SIN to BNE a 767 this time and my seat had no arm rest pad just duct tape, I couldn't believe it..
Glad to hear they are making lots of money.
