I recently got a complimentary PP membership through the Citibank Signature. I already had a PP and incorrectly thought that had been replaced by the new one. Not the case, the old one got auto renewed and they slugged me $109US. Anyway, after complaining, I was told to return the card and they would do a full refund. Anyone in a similar situation, cancel your pre-Citi PP card.
