Hi Guys

I'm a big DJ supporter and have always used my Priority Pass to use the DJ lounge when flying Y. When I hand over the card when I enter the lounge, they always want to take a look at the boarding pass.

This weekend however I am flying to Avalon on JQ (god help me) and I am wondering if I will encounter any issues getting into the DJ lounge because I am flying JQ?

I am going by the assumption that I should have access, but thought I would check with the experts prior to the day.

Sorry, don't know much about Priority pass. Doing a bit of reading, it doesn't look like you're restricted to which carrier's lounge you can use when flying - if they take priority pass, then go right on in.

I'm sure there are some Priority Pass users on here who can confirm.

Yeah doesn't matter who you're flying with when using Priority Pass. They'll just remind you that they don't page for JQ/QF flights

Great news for the SYD-AVV leg.
Might need to have a wine and a valium prior to departure on the return leg :D

Under the Priority Pass conditions, they state:

Admittance to lounges is strictly subject to cardholders and any guests being in possession of a valid flight ticket for the same day of travel.

That and the "no flight calls for JQ" type issues is probably why they want both. (although, as DJ gets paid everytime a PP is used - I really wonder if there is any incentive to actually ensure that a person has a boarding pass?)

I did laugh at the following T&C as well:
Admittance to lounges is subject to members and any guests (including children) behaving and dressing (no shorts allowed outside of the USA) in an orderly and correct manner.

So shorts are ok in the U.S, but not outside of the U.S? Bizarre.
