Priority Privilege renewals

Just wondering what renewal offers any one has been getting lately. In the last few years I have got a $100 certificate, and last year this was from a choice of the cert, and extra 2 for cert.

This year, my options don't seem to include the $100 certificate (actually the email was not about options, it was more as a bonus we will include an extra BOGO) , so was just wondering if any one else has got them recently.

I have been a PP member since 2005 and I just received my renewal email - for the second year in a row I have been offered the following:

As a show of appreciation for your continued loyalty, when you renew online we are delighted to offer a complimentary supplementary card only benefit for your partner or friend and 1 x Extra Stay 2 Nights for the Price of 1.

The supplementary card isn't much use for my partner because he usually only travels with me so he has never used it!

I got the $100 dining voucher a few years ago.

i took the extra BOGO rather than the $100 voucher, as it did not let you use the PP discount I saw the value as being $50, by comparison I get around $300-600 out of my BOGO!

Just dug up last years renewals, and the offer was

1) Extra BOGO
2) $100 voucher
3) Complimentary Supp card

Pick 1.

Prior years it was just the $100 voucher.

I guess an extra BOGO is ok - extra supp card wouldn't gain me much (and it may end up costing me if swmbo decided to start having lunches at the relevant establishments!)

The second card offer only gives you dining benefits, not the buy 1 get one free vouchers etc, and the hotels are now requiring you to show them you have one even for offers that dont require you to surrender it!

Hello Priority Privilege, I have six weeks till it expires - I will deal with it before it expires!

Get used to the emails oz_mark - I think they sent me 4 emails in that 6 week period. I took the supplementary card and gave it to another AFF'er (along with a couple of my transferrable vouchers that I won't use).

Last November I started getting the continual RENEW NOW emails for my PP expiry at the end of December and then I started getting phone calls to renew. The guy on the phone said that because I had been with the programme more than 5 years they are able to offer extra BOGO certs etc.

Unfortunately SWHMBO renewed online before I told him about the telephone call so I did not receive any extra vouchers.

Maybe hang out for the telephone call and see what they offer ?

My experience with their phone reps is that they tend to be, shall we say, a bit economical with the truth about things like extra vouchers etc.

I though you just need the card to show you are enrolled in the Priority Priviledge Program.... but I mainly dine at the buffet's so I am fine in that aspects of things.

Where are you staying in Darwin :?:

When we were there last month I did not offer my BOGO certificate and it was not asked for so I still have it for another day. Also at the CP if you have booked a suite the valet parking is included.

ps my PM in box has been cleared.
