Is anyone having problems actually logging in to Qantas Pass?

I have a balance of abut $200 and have the original email and password

When I attempt to login I am required to change my password (first time) and then meet password rules, for which I get a series of green ticks to advise my password meets the rules.

However, I then have to confirm the password, which everytime I enter the matching password throws up an error message with an exclamation mark
Password must be between 6-10 character long
Password must contain one digit from 0-9
Password must contain one special character
Password must contain one lowercase character
Password must contain one uppercase character

I CANNOT actually create/update my password or access Qantas Pass. I have cleared my cache, used a different browser, and brought it to Qantas' attention via complaints, Twiitter account etc etc. So far no luck and no response from Qantas

I haven’t dealt with this issue

Is there a password reset function? Maybe that can get around this bug

There are only bad options from there
1. Have you tried calling to book over the phone? (Set aside time to cool down after if it doesn’t work!)
2. HUCA. Keep someone on the line til eticket issued
3. Wait for response to complain form for who knows how long, and there are reports they periodically email saying equivalent of “do you still need help, if so click to keep this complaint open”
4. Airline customer advocate here
5. Consumer affairs and or a civil tribunal in your state…

Since you know your original balance from the original email, can't you deduct the current balance by looking through all the flights you've charged to the TravelPass? Their e-tickets should state amount charged. Then you can book your new flight using the remaining balance.

Not the most optimal solution, but surely way faster than waiting for Qantas to resolve this.

The problem isn't knowing my balance, it is USING it. I cannot log into Qantas Pass as the website won't let my create a first-time-user password (it accepts the "new password" as meeting the password rules, but not the confirmatory copy of the same password)

Hi I am having exactly the same problem did you find an answer to getting the site to accept the new password?

Probably the special character. Some sites limit which you can use and may not tell you which are acceptable. Often it is the period "." that is not allowed

this is the problem I had. i usually use an "!" but they only allow one of four special characters, which an exclamation mark isn't one of. Click on the info box and it'll show you what those four are.

Same problem here. To change the password, I used the temp password issues in email, which doesn't satisfy their own rules, and changed one of the characters to @. I had tried used a ! which wasn't accepted, even though it is a special character. Douch bags

Aain there shouldn't need to be a password change. Indeed checking the pass balance only requires the password issues by QF when the TP is issued, ie at https://www.qantas.com/quisportal/login.jsf

I just did it now with a TP and got the balance info without incident.

of course, as above, if one knows the balance to use/available, then you just need the number and expiry date to use when booking (no password).
