Anyone had experience with how long Box Office points take to post? Bought tickets a month ago, however the tickets are for an event that hasn't happened yet.

Do they post after the event, or is the event date not relevant?

I'm not sure of the specific rules but I bought some tickets in August 2007 and was credited the points in September 2007 (just over a month later). This is for an event that was on in October 2007.

Maybe they credit the points once a month???

Hope that helps.

I book frequently through QBO and have found the points are credited within three months, not sure of the reasons behind the variation.

Maybe not relevant with QF Box Office but I have noticed with QF Holidays that FF points do not post until after the event. I guess this is to ensure that you have used your package and not cancelled it after receiving the FF points.

Well, the event is tonight, and no points credited yet. Tickets purchased on the 17th of Jan 08, so interestingly enough close enough to a month has passed....

In case anybody is curious - points came on today, so just over a month from purchase.

Not sure if it is coincidence but the event happened only a couple of days ago.

Not coincidence. I am sure they are making sure you attend the event and not cancel beforehand after receiving the FF points.

I have been told when purchasing other QF related products/services that it can take up to 6 weeks after you have used the product/service for the FF points to post.

Took me 2 months for QBO and 5 months for Travelex for QFF Points (with repeated prodding and provision of same info over and over again)
