Can some one tell me, on the old 737-400's when they change the business seats to economy (by removing that table) is there more or less space in the centre seat then the rest of the economy section?

Also is QF using the 737-400 from Jetconnect on BNE-MEL runs now?

They move the armrests as well, so the actual seat width is the same as normal economy.

Still a seat to be avoided where possible (like all middle seats).

One apect of these B/E seats in rows 1 o 5 is that due the having less use, you tend to be sitting higher than your A/C/D/F neighbours.

Good to remember though that seat pitch is better in these seats than in conventional economy so although you'd get the dreaded centre seat at least you'll have more leg room!;)

They have always popped up on MEL-BNE vv. runs, and seem to replace the 738's when the demand dictates it.

*just re-read your post I couldn't answer it in regards to the ZK registered 734
