Hi all,

Im due to fly out Feb 2 from SYD-LAX on QF1 A380 business class, what do you think the chances are of the plane being back in the skies by then?

Thanks for your input!

Presumably you mean QF11.

Qantas are currently flying their 388's - just not across the pacific.

As far as Feb 2 goes, I don't like your chances.

QF are still showing that flight (QF11) as an A380 so I would say there is a small chance but certainly be prepared for a 744.

Thanks for the input and yes i meant QF11, I cling to hope the A380 is back in the air by then.
How does the business class experience compare on 744? Do they still have the flat skybed?

Changes are very low. I was going to say "zero" but lets just leave it as "very low".

All QF 744 have the Skybed Mk I.

It does go flat but with a slight slope. Some have more trouble sleeping in them than others; however they are better than any economy seat and better than most other Qantas Business class seats, Skybed Mk II excepted.

I have 388 flights transpacific booked for early April; I am not expecting to travel in one.
