Qantas Adelaide Business Lounge

I hear the Adelaide lounge will not accept lounge invitations during the building period. If that's so, the four invitations I would normally transfer to family members here in Adelaide won't work -- and that would make my travels with family difficult.
Looping back on this, confirmed with the lounge staff that this is definitely the rule for now until the renovation is complete.

If the rule is lounge passes can't be extended to friends and relatives at Adelaide Airport until renovations are completed (mid to late 2025), then surely Qantas should extend the passes validity for all QF members' addresses in South Australia until 12 months after all the renovations are completed. Simply just look at any postcode that starts with a '5', and to allow for delays, the the 12 months extension should start approximately end of 2025.

How does that help the SYD based menber flying through ADL for example? Or if my sister wants to fly out if ADL going home?

QF often have lounges that won't accept the passes from time to time for various reasons (renovations, school holidays etc) and that's just tough luck more or less.

I was there this morning and they had a heater cabinet which stored three heated options (a ham and cheese croissant, baked beans with English muffins and a frittata). There was an attendant there handing out whatever people asked for. As jase05 has pointed out, they’re doing the best with what they’ve got.
I was in the QP on Wed afternoon around 3-4pm, and it was ok. The small meals and nibbles they had did the job. I was worried I might not have been able to guest my work colleague in given the building works, but that was ok. I imagine it might get a bit more squeezy later in the day.

Please stop calling it the CL! It is misleading imo. It is the former CL space. That's all. How about "temporary J lounge facilities"?

Yes, I am being a bit of a pedant - so be it.

As for hoodies and joggers - in lounges with the dress codes, that is perfectly acceptable anyway. And none of the actual CLs have dress codes that I am aware of anyway.

But do we know there is a temp CL? If not, then it is the CL.

IMO, only 2 facilities are considered upgrades from the previous QP area, ie the toilets and 2 quiet room/office area.

The Lord was advised by one of the Duty Managers that it has been renamed the “Premium Longe’ during the refurb. There are tables reserved for CL clientele. So technically it’s not the CL …… but semantics I guess 🤣

It does not provide CL services, so it is NOT the CL.

If one if those rockpool burger joimts was taken over by Maccas and operated as such, you wouldn't call it Rockpool would you?

Let's go with Premium Lounge or temp J shall we?
