I am filled with the joys of the festive season now that I have received my Qantas Advisory Panel Christmas card - just wondeirn why no-one in Marketing thought about a mail merge so that the cards were individually addressed...

Just got through "reading" mine........although I thought it a bit silly.....nice of them to remember us though.

Mind you....hasn't been much action on the Q advisory site lately....or have i just been flicked by Q due to my "outspokeness" during the last survey

Josko:shock:

What's this mail merge thingy, you mean they don't actually write to us directly. ;)

I haven't received one yet, is it only Plats and Gold's that get them?

Nothing so common ... only those special few invited to the "Qantas Advisory Panel" (I guess).

I assume it is the even fewer who were duped into signing up ;)

I just found the QANTAS Advisory Panel thread on FT - just wondering, is it anything other than a marketing survey thing?

Just surveys - a chance for frequent flyers to give some specific targetted feedback.

Not that they listen to any thing we have to say......i joined cause i thought there may be a freebie in it.....guess what?.....i was wrong!

That's it....no freebies....no more surveys~

I havent had any more surveys since the answers to one survey were - I am only interested in the new seats on the A380...

I've noted a few people talking about the Qantas Advisory Panel. I wonder how they select participants. High yield passengers, CLs, WPs, random  I'd actually agree to join just to see what they might be planning.

I suppose being a member here I get to find out anyway :D

Anyway getting a universal christmas greeting card would always make it worth it

I didn't receive a Christmas Card. But I am interested to know who received a bottle of very nice Aussie red from the same source  .

I wass told by a colleague that one of the sales guys at her organisation receives two bottles of grange per year.

Two bottles! I need to complain.

I believe he does 90% travel in F/J constantly on the move rather than one location for weeks - allegedly in the QF top "10". He is like winetraveller - but with real commitment to his home carrier :p

Ahh, that is where I went wrong (say me sitting in the QF lounge at NRT waiting for a QF J flight home).
