Hi All

While browsing for business fares to South Africa (SYD<->JNB) I noticed that at least for the months of August and September (first half of the month) that the Business Class fares are about half price. However, a quick of search of a few other destinations out of SYD reveals regular business pricing...

Anyone know what's up there? Could it be a selected sale just for south Africa and other specific destinations?

Cheers

Interesting!

Desperate to fill seats probably

I am waiting for another 2 for 1 sale to the USA into next year for a trip I need to take.

Air NZ, Delta, United, V Australia all have basically 2 for 1 deals, but even better as it's around $6500-$7000 RETURN ALL IN Australia to LAX per person so you can go alone

I would prefer the A380 though and QF status credits/miles than either the UA or DJ equivalent

Like some recent special to/from HKG sometimes they are published sometimes not. Odd but you do see specials that are not published.

Reason. Very few are flying up the front. First has been scraped, PE+ is lower section of Business class and Y are filling PE+.

Same story as Mel-HK-Lon. People are flying Y and few are up the better end.

Seems very reasonable and I don't doubt your logic. But why wouldn't Qantas advertise this at least on their own website if not elsewhere?? We are talking almost 50% off the original fare after all!
