The VBA share price has freefalled, and flattened at 29c
Brett has left the building.
V Australia and the Pacific route are unsustainable.

MeThinks Qantas are waiting the for the death. Who needs a merger when you have a domestic monopoly.

Less than 12 months ago Qantas could not survive without a merger? Now Qantas does not need a merger for at least a decade.

Is Alan Joyce going to be around that long?

Qantas also picked up about 1/2 million new FF's thru their deal with Woolies, which should add to the piggy bank, which may give Alan a bit longer life expectancy (with QF).
What surprises me, is how Coles/DJ havn't tried to work the same type of deal as Woolies/QF. Coles has Office Works, Target, Myers etc., to pull points with, and could possibly outdo the opposition. Still.........

Cheers Dee
