Hi all. Have checked the threads on ticketing delays at Qantas, am feeling anxious about a booking made last week.
Rewards flight Sydney to Melbourne in busy Melbourne Cup period. Sold out now.
Shows up in Qantas FF app and Jetstar manage booking.
No itinerary or e-ticket received.
No points deducted, card payment still pending.
Call centre said booking is fine, is ‘in the queue’.
I really need this flight! Should I be worried?

There likely will be something awry with the card details
But as it’s a QF booking in November it won’t get cancelled. No risk of that at all. But you should call if not ticketed closer to the time and have it done whilst you wait on the line.

I have had similar issues with some recent simple one segment booking on international Partners.

On Thursday, I booked a SIN-KUL on MH, CC was authorized and points deducted but strangely, I could not enter APIS. By Saturday still no ticket and the authorisation has dropped off. I called and was told all is OK and it would ticket in 2 to 24 hours. Sunday I called again and after checking I was told I would get a call back as they could not do what (ever) was required. This morning, no call back and no ticket, so I called again. Again, after checking, they tried to do 'something' which failed and again promised a call backup. This time about 45 minutes later I did get a call back at the same time as the e-ticket email arrived. I have not has issues with MH bookings in the past.

Today I booked a single segment on AA, this time I was able to enter APIS. But 4 hours later and no e-ticket.

I'll wait 24 hours before calling, but previous experience has been that the e-ticket arrives a few minutes after APIS for AA bookings.

Can’t be the card as used many times before no problem, and payment has gone through, still pending.
No points deducted yet so that may be the problem. Now 7 days since booking 🙁

The e-ticket showed about 22 hours after entering APIS.

Anyone know if AA award sectors are at risk of dropping off if not ticketed?

I did a multi city redemption on AF ex-EU earlier in the week and it auto-ticketed
