Qantas Club Complimentary Invitation

I'm have Silver Qantas FF membership, and recieved a Qantas Club Complimentary Invitation when I reached Silver Status. I'm travelling with my husband later this month, and I'm wondering what are the chances they would let us both into the Qantas Club with the complimentary pass.

If there is no chance, I wont bother trying, but I thought you might be able to give me an idea if it is possible, or any idea of how to increase my chances that they would let both of us in.

I also got one of these and I am pretty sure that the small print at the back says that you are allowed one guest.

If it doesn't then have a look through the meetings tread as has been suggested. there are some nice people on AFF who may be able to assist.

I actually thought this as well as I received one (recently hit PS) however just looking now at the back point 7:

"The Qantas Club invitation can be used for a single visit to any Qantas operated lounge prior to travel. Qantas Club members can use invitation for an additional guest. For conditions of use, see back of invitation."

Then on the back it clearly says "valid for one person for a single visit" so its basically the same as a guest pass. QP members could use it to get an extra guest in but unfortunately without QP or status its just valid for one person, you could always give it a go if its domestic QP they may be nice or keep an eye on AFF travel plans, I recently joined QP with the 40,000 points promotion and will be happy to guest throughout the year when the opportunity arises.

When I went up the rung had free visitors pass, gave it to a friend who used it on her own out of SYD.

Netgrom, you said I could give it a try if I'm on a domestic flight. Does it make a difference if it is international?

Not really I only say domestic as you may have better chance of getting 2 in at a QP rather then the international J lounge, but someone with more experience may be able to comment
