Hi all,

first time poster, long time observer.

Any easy question to answer, I'm travelling to the USA end of June/July - I'll be flying with AA internally. As a Qantas Club member, will i have access to AA lounges at JFK, and in transit in Chicago?

Also, any AA lounge in Las Vegas??

Thanks all :)

Yes, as a Qantas Club member who will have access to the Admirals Clubs. Alcohol is not free in their lounges; however, Qantas Club members can ask for drink 'chits' at the lounge reception, each of them good for one alcoholic drink. You will usually be given two to start with but there's nothing stopping you from going back for me.

No, there are no AA (or oneworld) lounges at Las Vegas. A handy tool can be found here: oneworld - Search for a oneworld Lounge

Welcome.

You can access the AA lounges as a Qantas club member. They give you vouchers for drinks as there is no free grog for AA members.

There is no AA lounge at Las Vegas, I flew out of there in 07. It not a business destination which IMHO is why the dont have a lounge there. You can play the pokies/slots in the concourse though!!

Sure did!

I needed it for the 24th, so had to pay the $30 for Express delivery.
There's actually a small, virtually unknown trick you can use to avoid paying the AUD30 express charge.

Pretty much all QP's in Australian ports have temporary cards they can issue for new members. If you've signed up and still waiting for the membership pack before you leave, simply rock up at the QP desk where they can issue the temporary card.
