Hi, i'm a silver frequent flyer member, and upon renewal of my membership received a complimentary qantas club pass, however my partner and i are travelling to fiji on the 24th of june, an early 8am flight, meaning we have to be there at 6 am, i was wondering how it would be possible to get/buy another complimentary pass, as we only would use the lounge on the flight over because its so early in the morning! wouldnt want to leave my boyfriend outside the lounge-;) -so all suggestions welcome..

Cheers

Aha, a dedicated girlfriend. Shame I can't find one. :(

Unfortunately the pass does say it is only valid for one guest but maybe if you ask nicely on the day. ;)

Welcome to AFF, jemmaelias.

It is not possible to "buy" additional Qantas Club passes. Some people have had success buying passes off e-bay, but I wouldn't recommend this as many of these are fakes.

Some of the AMEX CC promotions offer complimentary Qantas Club passes, but given your departure date it is unlikely you would receive these in time.

Apart from asking at the lounge, you could try posting your flight details in this (or the Qantas Club Meetings) thread, in whcih case if another AFF member with lounge access is travelling on the same flight / day they may invite your partner in as their guest.

Good luck

Its a case of YMMV but my parents used a single pass to get into the int'l QP at SYD - that was two people using one pass. If you cant find another one you might as well just try on the day at the lounge :)
