Qantas Club Sydney International - 30 Jan for 3pm flight to LAX

Hi

I'm flying Qantas from Sydney to LA on 30 Jan at 3.00pm.

I have a complimentary invitation to the Qantas Club, but would like to take my husband in too. The invitation is for one person only. I posted a question a while ago on AFF and it was suggested I look on this thread:
January 2012 thread, which I did, but couldn't find anyone traveling on that date/time, so though I'd try a more direct approach, and asked on the thread if anyone could guest me. No luck.

So, I'm now trying this thread. If anyone is able to guest me in, so my husband can use my invitation, I'd love to hear from you.

Otherwise, just wondering if anyone has had any luck trying at the Qantas Club counter, trying to get a partner in on these complimentary invitations.

I'm going to miss out on silver status this year as I didn't quite get enough points, so would like the chance to use my invitation whilst I have it. Apologies in advance if I seem a lettle persistent with this request!

You best bet would to look through the following thread and see if anyone has a spare guest spot. If you can't find one, post your flight details there and try your luck that way... This is where anyone who is flying in Jan and is open to guesting will look \ post up details.

I think the OP looked in that thread. Might be a bit of a problem that a lot of us are flying on the 28th.

Yes, that's right. I have checked that thread. Seems like I might not be lucky.

Harvyk - when you said post might flight details is the info in the Title bar not enough. Is a flight number required?
