I have managed 34 different airports with a few easy ones still to come.

BTW where is Aubrey?

Dont imagine too many people would have Orange as a QF destination!

Would TAA count? ;)
Did a bit of domestic mail run trips BNE- Winton/Julia Creek and back in the 80s.
If so, my domestic airports with QF/TAA would be:
QF:

  • Brisbane (home)
  • Sydney
  • Melbourne Tullamarine
  • Canberra
TAA:

  • Old Brisbane domestic ;)
  • Winton
  • Julia Creek
  • Longreach
  • Richmond
  • St George? <not sure, may have only bussed to/from St George>
  • Isisford
  • Blackall
Will have to check with my Mum for the rest of the route ... can't remember it anymore. :P

You have me thinking now - I know the last few times I flew from Orange, it was on REX - but I have a very clear memory of flying their on a QF flight - am I wrong? Did I drink too much beer last night?

I done a fruitless Google search - maybe someone can shed some light! From memory, it would have been early 90's

Mr!

How long ago was it when QF flew to Griffith? I travel there a bit on Rex - service is great but would love to have seen QF land there.

That was about the same time as I flew to Orange on a QF flight - early to mid 1990's - I am sure it was a QF flight - my memory isn't that bad

Mr!

I thought it might have been post 2001 when Qantas link picked up some of the NSW services that Ansett serviced, prior to that Bathurst and Orange were Eastern airline destinations for Bathurst with Orange dominated by Hazeltons. East West also service Bathurst.

That one was all Qantas domestic and International; surprised or not surprised I have added a few to the list.

Port Macquarie
Newcastle

Longreach

Cairns
Townsville
Hamilton Island; yes on (Qantaslink to Cairns)
Mt Isa (depends if you count flying Macair on a QF issued ticket.

I've not really visited many airports in Australia .. my list looks something like:

BNE
SYD
MEL
ADL
PER
CNS
LST

..and the last two were many, many years ago. I flew CNS-BNE on BI (during the pilot strike) and LST-SYD (I think?) on TN.

Not many for me
CNS
TSV
ROK
GLT
BNE
SYD
MEL
ADL
OLP - Olympic Dam
PER
DRW
CBR
Shame I can't include ceduna.

But I have flown to Olympic Dam on 5 different airlines - Kendall/Ansett, REX, REX/DJ, Alliance/DJ, Alliance/QF. I'm pretty sure there was a short period when it was booked via REX and then switched to be booked with DJ operated by REX. But my memory is a bit hazey.
