Has anyone else noticed that domestic airfares have increased ~$5 overnight. I don't recall reading this anywhere so may have missed it....

SYD-CBR $89
SYD-BNE $94
SYD-MEL $104

Domestic Fares Update04 March 2009
Effective for sale and travel on/after Thursday 5 March 2009:

Red-e-Deal and Super Saver Domestic fares will increase by between $5 and $11 (all-inclusive) on all Qantas mainline markets, and Selected Red e-Deal and Super Saver fares will increase by varying amounts on selected QantasLink regional markets.
In line with standard fare conditions, all existing bookings must be ticketed by Wednesday 4 March 2009 otherwise the increased fare levels will apply.
Associated wholesale fares will also increase for sale and travel on/after Thursday 5 March 2009 in line with the above changes.

Latest Fare Changes

Qantas Australia's Greatest Cities Sale has been extended to 14 April but from what I can see the airfare has increased. Current sale SYD-BNE for $79 and SYD-MEL for $89.

I am almost certain that the same sale on last week SYD-BNE was $75 and SYD-MEL was $85. Qantas forward sales must be up again to increase airfares....
