Just got this through from QF:

[FONT=&quot]Effective for sale & travel on / after today (14 October 08), Domestic Red eDeal, Super Saver, Flexi Saver, Fully Flexible and Business class fares[/FONT][FONT=&quot]
[/FONT][FONT=&quot]will decrease on average by between 2% - 3% on Qantas mainline and Qantaslink regional markets.

Looking at a PER-SYD Red e-Deal, the price has dropped from $311 one way to $303 one way.

There is a sale on currently - I paid $219 each way for a nov trip.. go fri night, back sun night so was happy about that..
 
Not bad. SYD-BNE vv for non sale fares has dropped from $131 to $128.
