Last month I was flying from Frankfurt, Germany to Sydney (via Helsinki and Singapore). The final segment in the flight (QF82 from SIN to SYD) was delayed by 14 hours. Consequently I had to book a hotel and catch a Grab to the hotel. I submitted an EU261 request to Qantas with a copy of receipts for expenses incurred and they agreed to reimburse me for my out of pocket costs and compensate me under EU261. They requested I send them banking details which I did. Shortly thereafter Qantas tried contacting me (whilst I was overseas) on my Australian number which was unavailable mentioning that they had problems wiring the money to my account and I needed to contact them. Since returning to Australia on the 29th of October, I have not received a phone call from Qantas following up on this matter, and when I reach out to Qantas over the phone I am told that they escalated the issue but so far no one has contacted me back. Furthermore, I have sent an email to the thread where they indicated they tried calling me to sort out the payment issue, advising them that I am back in Australia and they should contact me.

I am at my wits' end on how to proceed here having now contacted Qantas on three separate occasions (twice by phone and once by email). Does Qantas have a number or email I can call to escalate this further? Who should I contact next? Again, there is no disputing this money is owed, Qantas agreed as much in an email, all I need taken care of right now is getting the money transferred to my account.

Cheers,
