You don't state when your anniversary is.  This older offer renewed status.  However it won't roll over Status Credits like today's offer.  My interpretation is that today's new offer would trump the old offer if you are have an August to December anniversary.  In that case and if you haven't already taken your flight, you could cancel and rebook.  If you have already taken the flight, you will need to book another flight in order to roll over SCs (same deal as if you have already requalified yourself).
